Eurasian Watermilfoil

More lakes in Wisconsin have become infested with invasive species this summer.

The exotic invasive plant Eurasian watermilfoil (EWMF) has infested another lake in Sawyer County.

This month, Department of Water Natural Resources water quality biologist Craig Roesler confirmed the presence of the weed in Callahan and Mud Lakes, which are part of the Chief River drainage system that flows into the Chippewa Flowage.
