Oklahoma Lakes
Water levels at many lakes around Oklahoma are extremely low due to drought conditions around the area. The water levels at Grand Lake are about to get worse, due to the Grand River Dam Authority's need to fill the Holway Reservoir.
The reservoir was drained for repairs. To fill it, they need to raise the level of Lake Hudson by draining water from Grand Lake. This means lake levels on the Grand may be lowered by more than 2 ½ feet. GRDA has sent a letter to many dock owners on Grand Lake warning them about the lower levels.
