Lakes In China

Most lakes in China are now in serious trouble, with lakes in East China heavily polluted and lakes in West China greatly losing water, the Ministry of Water Resources of China (MWR) recently stated, during "Symposium on Lake Conservation and Sustainable Development of Qinghai Lake".

The MWR and Chinese Academy of Sciences are working hard on a "Lake Health Indicator", and after this system is accomplished, China will give comprehensive examinations to all Chinese lakes based on the system.
