Lake of the Ozarks

A snow and ice storm has caused millions of dollars in damage to docks, marinas, and boats at the Lake of the Ozarks and at several other lakes in Missouri. The state water patrol has issued an advisory urging boaters to stay off the Lake of the Ozarks unless they are operating emergency response craft. The weight of ice and snow has caused many covered docks to collapse, often forcing docked boats to sink. Some of the damaged boats also have started leaking fuel.
