Hubbard Lake

Hubbard Lake is in Northern Michigan. The lake covers 8,850 acres and is seven miles wide and two miles long. It has a maximum depth of 85 feet with an average depth of 32.6 feet.

The lake is named for Dr. Bela Hubbard who first surveyed the area along with Dr. Douglass Houghton in 1850. The lake is stocked with bass, yellow perch, northern pike, muskie, trout and walleye.
