Lake Huron Water Levels
Lake Huron levels are expected to drop throughout August as Lake Superior is at its lowest level in more than 80 years. Superior is about 21 inches below its long-term average level for the beginning of August. Water supplies to the basins of Lake Superior, Michigan and Huron were below their long-term averages in July. Precipitation around Lake Huron will likely be below average for the near term.
