Two Lakes Saved

Conservation agreements protected two wild bog lakes at the headwaters of the Little Amnicon River. The properties in Douglas County, Wisconsin remain forested with no significant disturbance of the land’s natural features.

126 acres of rolling forested land are part of the agreement. The land includes a wild bog lake, old growth timber and sphagnum peat land.
