New York Passes Compact

The New York Legislature passed the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact this week. Minnesota has already adopted the compact. The Illinois Legislature also passed the compact and is awaiting final approval from that state's governor. Indiana, Pennsylvania and Michigan all have legislation pending.
