Sturgeon spearers harvested more then 1,100 fish from Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin and other lakes in the area, and marked the largest number of fish weighing more than 150 pounds registered in decades. Of those caught, three weighed more than 160 pounds. This is the 75th regulated sturgeon-spearing season.
