Wisconsin and the Great Lakes

A bill that would make Wisconsin part of an eight-state compact to protect the Great Lakes in the State Assembly has hit a major snag, and may derail the agreement. Wisconsin may end up being the lone party refusing to become part of the Great Lakes Compact.
