"Coaster" Brook Trout

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service may place the "coaster" brook trout on the endangered species list. The fish was once found in large numbers throughout the Great Lakes. The agency plans to make a decision by the end of 2008. If it recommends listing the coaster as endangered, it will consider public comments before issuing a final ruling.
