Eurasian Ruffe

The Eurasian ruffe is a small perch capable of rapid population growth which is threatening native fish species in the Great Lakes. The ruffe was introduced to Duluth Harbor in Lake Superior by ballast water and was first collected in fish surveys in 1986.
