American Water Works IPO

Water is big business, and companies that work with the commodity are going public at a rapid rate. American Water Works (AWK) is the latest to set its IPO. It priced at $21.50 a share on the New York Stock Exchange. The company is based out of Voorhees, N.J., and is a water- and wastewater-treatment utility. The company is being spun off from its German parent, RWE AG.
