DEET in Drinking Water

Many people may know that DEET is detected in many rivers and lakes around the world. Now a report from the Chicago Sun-Times has found it in the cities drinking water. In testing performed around the country in the last month, of drinking water supplies-pharmaceuticals, flame-retardants and plastic have all been shown in some degree in the water.
