Delay in CDC Report
Are politicians to blame for a delay of the CDC’s report, "Public Health Implications of Hazardous Substances in the Twenty-Six U.S. Great Lakes Areas of Concern?" The report was due in July of 2007, but still has not seen the light of day. The research was to cover 26 areas of concern in the Great Lakes Watershed, and provide answers as to why cancer and infant mortality rates are higher in some areas.
