The first climbing accident has occurred at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin this year. A 20-year-old Baraboo man fell more than 40 feet while free-climbing on the rocks above the lake. He sustained multiple injuries, but is in stable condition. 18 injuries occurred last year at the state park due to rock climbing or hiking.
