Lake Levels Affect Economy

As Wisconsin gets set to pass the Great Lakes Water Resources Compact a special congressional panel will meet in Green Bay. The panel will hear testimony on how lower water levels in Lakes Michigan and Superior have affected the economy and the environment.

The hearing will be held April 18 at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The panel will also learn more about the spread of invasive species in the Great Lakes Watershed.
