Vessel Discharge Program

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is working with other state, federal, tribal and international organizations to take steps to address the threat of invasive species in the Great Lakes, and intends to develop a regulatory program to control the introduction and spread of invasive species by ballast water. The program should be ready by September of this year.
