DNR Testing Lakes
Clear Lake and other lakes in Iowa are being currently tested by the DNR. The tests are for turbidity, water temperature, pH and bacteria levels. The DNR is making sure the water quality of the lakes is right for the onslaught of swimmers and fishermen this summer. With the cooler temperatures this spring, the growth of algae and cyanobacteria have slowed in recent weeks.
