High Water in Southeastern Wisconsin

Lake levels in Southeastern Wisconsin are well above normal in Walworth and Racine counties. Powers Lake currently has a wake restriction, and officials are monitoring Twin Lake, Paddock Lake, Lake Mary and Elizabeth to see if restrictions will be put in place on those lakes. Flooding in August of last year halted boat traffic on many lakes in the area. Erosion and mud slides caused millions in property damage for homeowners on Geneva Lake due to the flooding.
