Lakes of Missouri Volunteer Program

With new development overtaking watersheds across the nation, conservation is becoming more crucial. One group of volunteers in Missouri is trying to make a difference, one lake at a time.

The Lakes of Missouri Volunteer Program works with the University of Missouri to take water samples from 50 lakes across the state. Since 1992, the program has trained hundreds of volunteers.
