The Save Lake Superior Association, the Izaak Walton League and Trout Unlimited filed a lawsuit in federal court in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The groups are trying to force federal agencies (including the U.S. Coast Guard) to enforce regulations to prevent the spread of viral hemorrhagic septicemia, or VHS, to Lake Superior.
