Beach Closings

Close to 50 beaches are closed due to flooding across the Great Lakes watershed. The beach closings are mainly due to possible E. coli contaminations. Swollen rivers and taxed sewer systems have been dumping more debris and contaminants throughout the watershed into the lakes. Please be advised to check for beach closings in your area before venturing into the water.
