Dams in Wisconsin

After Lake Delton, Wisconsin drained due to a dam and shore failure, the need to check and update dams across the country has never been more obvious. Up to 600 million gallons of water drained from the lake into the Wisconsin River. Three of the ten dams in Wisconsin that have caused serious problems and damage in the state have not been checked since 1993. A report showed the DNR had not checked up to 230 dams in Wisconsin in the last ten years.
