Lake Holcombe, Holcombe Flowage

Damming the Chippewa River in 1950 formed the Holcombe Flowage, or Lake Holcombe in its present form. The lake is 3,890 acres with 60 miles of shoreline. Lake Holcombe has a 60 ft maximum depth, and is located in Chippewa County, Wisconsin.
