Michigan to Pass Great Lakes Compact

House and Senate leaders have reached an agreement in Michigan which would pass the Great Lakes Compact as soon as this week. The agreement hinged on setting water usage standards and regulations within the state. Pennsylvania would be the only state left not to pass the Compact.

The importance of water regulation in the Great Lakes keeps increasing do to the ever growing population in the U.S, and abroad.
