Recreational Water Illness
According to the CDC, Recreational Water Illnesses are on the rise. The rate of infection has doubled in the last ten years. Recreational Water Illness is any illness or infection caused by organisms that contaminate lakes, streams, rivers and oceans, resulting in diarrhea, skin rashes and other conditions. The most common RWIs are swimmer’s ear and swimmer’s itch.
