The House Judiciary Committee voted to send to the House floor a bill to ratify the Great Lakes Water Compact. The Compact is now on the fast track to be approved by Congress and signed by the President by the end of the year. Although there are some worries that economic concerns, and war issues could push back ratifying the Compact into next year.
