Great Lakes Water Levels Rising

With all the rain across the Midwest, lake levels are rising rapidly. Lake Michigan and Lake Huron rose six inches in June. The amount of water rushing into the lakes was 30% higher than average. The lakes are still 16 inches below their long term averages, but the rain this spring is obviously good for the watershed.
