Lake Levels, Water Quality and Invasive Species
After two major flood events in less then a year, some communities are looking at lowering the average levels of their lakes. The Yahara Chain or Madison Chain of Lakes has many homeowners and boaters wondering what can be done to make the lakes more user friendly.
Also, in the state of Wisconsin, Eurasian water milfoil keeps spreading. The invasive weed has taken over many lakes across the Midwest, and the list keeps growing. About ten new lakes are infiltrated by milfoil every summer across the country.
