Lakes and Climate Change

How is global warming or climate change effecting lakes around the world? Scientists are slowly trying to find out, with one woman leading the charge. Anne Hershey has spent close to thirty years at the Toolik Field Station in Northern Alaska during the summer, studying arctic lakes.

The tundra of Alaska has thousands of pristine glacial lakes, and most are being altered by climate change.
