Water Supply Lake Michigan

Billions of gallons of storm runoff from Ike has communities along Lake Michigan dumping in as much as 20% more chlorine into their drinking water supply. Some water stations are reporting up to 4 times the normal amount of sediment and particles in water used for drinking before treatment.
