40% of Freshwater Fish in Danger

Did you know, that according to the U.S.G.S, 40% of all freshwater fish in streams, rivers and lakes are in danger of disappearing? Over 700 species of fish are imperiled or endangered from habitat loss, pollution, invasive species and climate change. 61 species of freshwater fish have gone extinct in the last 50 years in North America, alone.
