Bailout for the Great Lakes?

The Healing our Waters-Healthy Lakes Coalition is asking the Federal Government to earmark $6.5 billion dollars for Great Lakes infrastructure projects. The money could come from any future economic bailout or stimulus packages in the future. Up to 23 billion gallons of raw sewage flows into the Great Lakes each year, threatening drinking water and wildlife.
