Obama has just announced a cash infusion of $475 million dollars to help restore the Great Lakes. The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative will be led by the EPA and will tackle problems such as, invasive species, point and non-point pollution, habitat for wildlife, contaminates in wetlands and the bottom of the lakes.
