Quagga Mussels Taking Over Lake Michigan

Did you know? Quagga mussels in some areas of Lake Michigan are so abundant that they have literally formed a solid carpet across the lake bed. The invasive species is disrupting the delicate ecosystem in the lake, and are filtering nutrients that were once part of the food chain for larger fish species.
