Nine lakes in Indiana have been closed to motorized boating by the DNR. The closures come after the lakes reached near record water levels. The lakes are as follows: Tippecanoe, Oswego, James, Big Barbee, Little Barbee, Irish, Kuhn, Sechrist and Winona. The DNR will reevaluate the situation after the flooding subsides.
