Great Lakes Water Levels
The water levels of the Great Lakes continue their climb back to normal levels after almost reaching record lows across parts of the basin. Lakes Michigan, Superior and Huron are all above last years levels. Lake Ontario and Erie are slightly below their totals from last year at this time. Lake Superior is showing a gain of four inches, while Huron and Michigan are a foot higher above sea level. The heavy rains and snow in the basin may push the totals higher.
