Michigan and Wetlands

Michigan's plan to pass wetland permitting responsibilities back to the federal government to save dwindling funds, is receiving a lot of scrutiny across the nation. The move could leave 900,000 acres of wetlands in the state unprotected, which is close to 17% of all wetlands in Michigan.
