Cold Water Warning

Saturday is "Cold Water Warning Day" in Minnesota. The day is to remind people that lakes in the state are too cold for long periods of swimming this early in the season. The MLPC wants to remind people to watch young children around all bodies of water. Hypothermia can set in when the body reaches 95 degrees, within 15 minutes in water at 40 degrees.
