Great Lakes Icebreaker

H.R. 1747 just passed unanimously in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Great Lakes Icebreaker Replacement Act approves funding for a new icebreaker in the basin. The plan will authorize between $135-153 million for the construction of the ship. The bill must pass the Senate next.
