Groundwater and Geneva Lake

One of the most popular and heavily used lakes in the Midwest has a relatively healthy groundwater supply. A new study shows that Geneva Lake's well pumping from the watershed has not drastically reduced the amount of water from the lake. But, if dry weather returns after a few years of heavy snow and rain; water flow to the White River could be reduced dramatically. The amount of groundwater will continue to be under pressure from almost constant population growth within the watershed.
