Lake Mead Water Levels
Lake Mead is reaching levels not seen in over forty years. The lake is about to reach a point where Nevada and Arizona will have to restrict water use from the reservoir. Also, Scripps researchers believe that the lake could be dry by 2021 if water use is not curtailed, and climate change predictions do not improve.
