Chetek Lakes Protection Association is hoping to receive a $200,000 grant to help fight the Chetek Chain of Lakes worsening water quality. Prairie, Ojaski, Pokegama, Chetek and Ten Mile lakes were placed on Wisconsin's "impaired" list do to their high phosphorus concentrations and invasive vegetation.
