Geneva Lake Heavily Used
Another busy day on Geneva Lake in Wisconsin.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Geneva Lake in Walworth County is the most heavily used body of water per acre in the state. Aerial photos taken of the lake on a summer weekend afternoon has shown up to 2,500 boats in motion at one time. Last year, numbers from 2000 showed there were 50 reportable accidents on the lake and one fatality.
